The short version

You can cancel your ai.NEST subscription at any time. If we never put your action into production, you get the activation fee back in full. Once it is live, the month you are in is not refunded — but nothing renews after you cancel.

[ 2. ]

Who to ask

ai.NEST is sold through Paddle, our reseller and merchant of record, so Paddle issues every refund. You can request one directly from Paddle at paddle.net or help@paddle.com, or write to us at info@ainest.dev and we will instruct Paddle for you. Either route reaches the same place; email us if you would rather explain the problem to the people who built the thing.

[ 3. ]

The monthly subscription

Cancel whenever you like. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the notice period set out in our Terms, and you are not charged again after that. We do not refund part-months or unused request quota: the month buys a running, monitored action and the monthly change budget, both of which you had. If we charged you after you cancelled, that is our mistake and we refund it in full.

The one-time activation fee

  • Before we start. If you cancel before onboarding begins, you get everything you have paid back in full.
  • If it never goes live. If we cannot put the agreed action into production, you pay nothing: every part of the activation fee you have paid is refunded, including the 50% upfront. We would rather return the money than argue about a system that does not work.
  • Once it is live. The activation fee is not refundable after go-live — it paid for work that was done and delivered. Cancel the subscription instead; §3 applies.
  • If you change the scope mid-build and we have already done the work, we will tell you what part of the fee is still refundable before you decide.

Where this policy does not apply

Fees for work outside the product — additional actions, work beyond the monthly change budget — are quoted and invoiced separately, and their terms are in that quote.

[ 6. ]

Your statutory rights

If you are a consumer in the EU, EEA or UK, you have a statutory right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days, exercised through Paddle. ai.NEST is sold to businesses, so this will rarely apply — but nothing in this policy takes it away, and nothing here limits any other right you have by law.

[ 7. ]

Chargebacks

Please talk to us before raising a chargeback. A chargeback freezes the account while the bank investigates, which usually takes longer than simply refunding you would have. We have never refused a refund that was owed.

[ 8. ]

How the money comes back

Paddle returns funds to the original payment method. How quickly it lands depends on your bank or card issuer, not on us.

[ 9. ]

Changes

We may update this policy. The version that applies to you is the one published when you paid.
